Plots and houses around Madurai

Madurai stock is still heavy with plots and individual houses. A broker’s day is a cent measurement, a ground conversation, and a buyer who wants the site near a bus stand they already use. Localities brokers name

• KK Nagar: residential plots and houses, a name buyers recognise. Do not confuse it with KK Nagar in another city. Put Madurai on the card.
• Mattuthavani: the bus-stand side. Buyers arrive from outside the city and ask for plots with a drivable approach.
• Anaiyur: houses and smaller plots on the north side.
• Goripalayam: central demand, more houses than large layouts.
• Tirupparankundram: the temple side, plots and houses, buyers who care about the road more than the brochure.
• Vilangudi: another north-side name that shows up when buyers reject Anaiyur on price.

People say cent and ground in the same breath. 1 cent = 435.6 sq ft. 1 ground in the Tamil Nadu sense is 2,400 sq ft, about 5.5 cent. If a seller says “one ground” and the deed says 2,200 sq ft, trust the deed and say both in the caption so the visit does not start with an argument.
